Liverwurst on dry toast is one of my favourites.

Me too! But I don't eat bread any more so I just eat it plain.

I eat it on rye bread or a mixture of rye and multi grain.

On rye with dill pickles

Amen

Absolutely, but I don't put the pickles on the sandwich...I nibble on them after each bite.

Peach Barbecue Chicken

10-12 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin removed
16 oz jar peach preserves
2 cups chicken broth
2-3 cups barbecue sauce (enough to cover)
14 oz can sliced peaches

Add chicken, broth, preserves, and barbecue sauce to the crock pot. Cook on low 5-6 hours (high 3-4 hours). Add canned peaches and stir right before serving. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, spoon over peaches and sauce. Garnish with green onions.

Slap it between two pieces of bread, and your good to go !

Enjoy!

It might work if you balance out the sweetness with a more savory (sour) ingredient to balance it out.
