No, not the same thing at all. Well, a little bit the same thing. Ok, how about the same thing and a whole lot more?

There is some cleaning it doesn't do, but this with CCleaner is good. What's bothersome is how it's running at startup with no entry in the msconfig 13.gif

chuckle.gif Startup should be as barebones as possible. So many times people hand me their computers that are having problems and they have 50 programs starting at startup ffs.
The other biggie is dust bunnies.

Yeah. Dust is a killer. It's funny that the software that is designed to help your computer run faster and includes a section to turn off startup programs is automatically set to run on startup.

My daughter used the canned air spray to supposedly clean out the dust bunnies, but doesn't;t blowing air in there just push those dust bunnies in deeper? I would think one needs to open it up and clean it out properly. She is sure it pushes dust out...not in. dunno.gif

Opening up a laptop is not difficult. You can go to Youtube and search for your specific unit and find videos showing you how to do it. All you will probably need is a small Phillips screwdriver and a small flat screwdriver.
