That homemade ghee would come in handy for a proper SHTF cooking oil. Recently I discovered flavorless coconut oil and I've been using it for everything fried. It does something for scrambled eggs that is not like anything else.

anyways..stuff i put here in thread is just a quick 'last resort' list
..may or may not add more depending on what may or may not surface as i roam
the one i am glad i found that is useful to me; is the jam without pectin
