It's been gorgeous over here. It was 22C here today up until we had some thunder and much needed rain. We're down to 15C tomorrow with more rain, but that's ok, it's been really dry
Today after the thunderstorm:
our weather is the same as Finland at the moment. This is cold for us.
I like the cooler nights, with the cats all over me, cuddling each other to stay warm. The dog cuddles on the other side.
Yeah I enjoy cool nights and rarely shut my bedroom window and I never have the heater on in there,. Not even once this past winter 
Ferns in a ditch under a bird cherry hedge snapped on my way home from work today
there's this bird that mimics that comes to my yard each spring & mimicking something different than each previous spring
this time it's whistling
(sounds just like a human male whistling)
Some migratory mimicking birds pick up some exotic songs during their vacations in warmer lands.
A few years ago we had this birds sounding like some raiforest bird, probably picked it up in Africa or something. Pretty cool creatures!

yep the bird also has mimicked a train horn, a cat, a dog & other things i don't recall atm..
I can tell it's hatching time. The seagulls are very aggressive when you get close to a nest. And they do poop bombing so it's a bit challenging right now, there are seagull nests all over the place in the neighborhood
