Things could always be worse
Losing your spouse to sudden death is horrible and I'm still dealing with the shock of it all. I will be for a long time.
But in perspective, there are worse things than death.
I read about a week an a half ago about a serious accident in the local paper, where a car hit a motorcycle in a notoriously dangerous intersection in the town where we used to live. There were 2 ppl on the mc and they were both seriously injured.
I only last night got the message from my old friend of over 30 years it was his son on that mc. He's only in the next day or two moved to a regional hospital. He got a platinum plate operated onto his skull and he's on a respirator and doctors say it's "very bad". He's 19 and a very nice and friendly kid that I know and love.
We all went on vacation together, JR and I and our friend and his kids.
When JR died I called him and cried. Today I could be there for him when he called.
This life is short and sweet, don't sweat the small stuff.
Oh I love that! And I totally agree!
Thank you! ❤️
