It's even cold all the way down here JR, the temp was 4 just before sunrise. The weather is warmer back in Romania. Don't feel like cooking tonight, thinking of a veggie pizza loaded with meat.

I was think PBJ, but I left the Jelly out in the Sun

I thought to make Chili from a Can

too lazy to heat it,,, so,,,

I'll just finish that box of screaming yellow zonkers

and half a Jelly Roll.

I'd order Pizza, but ain't no delivery gonna drive 31 miles up a Mountain to me.

@cynicalabsurdance American tanks and troops are standing 200 km from my front door. I was far too close for comfort to the current situation in the Ukraine. On the positive side, found a little place in Spain until things settle down, but it's been unusually cold but the food is so good it makes up for it. BTW I know where there's a huge old house for sale cheap in Romania.  

It sounds like a winner but I have to pass.

I love to go out to the woods and hike but I actually want to come back afterward.

Sounds great NM, we love chili!

What a weird day it was here. It was clear and right at freezing this morning then out of the blue - we got 4"+ of new snow in a couple hours then it turned to rain and got close to 40 and melted every bit of snow that fell.

Spring in Finland is tricky... You have to look at the calendar to know it's here.

i can relate..

Spring is a slow process here..be awhile yet before even close to sprung..usually by end of May

2nd weekend of May people are usually checking lakes to see if ice is gone yet for opening fishing 

i recall a couple yrs back we had a blizzard mid may -so May can be tricky.

..going to have buttermilk pancakes for sunday breakfast

mmm mmm...It's been so long since we've had pancakes.

Octo used to make the best blueberry pancakes, especially with fresh picked blueberries from the woods.

Okay, now I'm just drooling and slobbering.

HA! good move I say. when I read your comment I thought it just a whimsical expression, not an actual Plan.

so it surprised me.

Food and weather, yeah, those things matter, I'm surrounded by Mexican Restaurants and 80 degrees, no complaints here.
