There's been protests everywhere around the world.
Even our neighboring town had organized a honking protest yesterday, objecting to gas prices reaching 2 euros/liter among other things.
Hundreds of people joined the caravan, honking their way through town.

It's been my experience that Canadian Geese often honk.

To remain on Facebook they had to change their handle to Stop the Mandate or something like that - from anything referring to freedom.

Of course, do we expect anything else?

@Octo, yeah everyone is drained and done with this covid doom. But gas prices are rising because of Russian aggression...can Russians hear the honking from there?

Nobody is blaming the Russians for the gas prices, they're mad at our govt and the 65% tax they slap on gas.

Yup, gas in Finland is outlandish AF, especially if you do a comparison between US/Canadian prices and here.

We ditched the car for fat ebikes and have never missed it.

Well, here they are blaming Russian aggression for gas hikes. Good idea switching to ebikes, if you can do it. We can't, we are in the sticks and need cars to get to work far far away.

So, the new handle on another Facebook thread is The People's Convoy, no wording about freedom or mandates.

700 National Guard stationed in DC waiting for protesters to arrive, but the guard is unarmed, whatever that means. No firearms? Do they have batons, pepper spray, tear gas, etc.?

They'll form a human fence no lorry can break through.
