JR loved this day over here. We used to have so much fun.
We would make bacon cheese burgers that were too huge to finish. At the store JR would salute the Amerikan Pekoni (America's Bacon) and say God bless America. He was so funny. 
The first thing he learned in Finnish was Amerikkalainen pekoninainen (American bacon woman)
Another fun thing we did one year up at the cabin, we had this model ship of Santa Maria, Columbus flagship. It looked much like in the picture, but it was plastic and old so we decided to rig it with some firework and send it sailing across the lake.
It went down so fast and we rofl'd so hard
