"A spokesperson for District Attorney Alvin Bragg confirmed the resignations of Carey Dunne and former mafia prosecutor Mark Pomerantz. Both started on the probe under former District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and were asked to stay when Bragg took office in January."
"The New York Times, citing sources, reported Dunne and Pomerantz quit after Bragg raised doubts about pursuing a case against Trump."
"Bragg, limited by ethics rules from discussing the case in detail, said at the time he was getting up to speed on the Trump investigation and that he would "follow the facts." "
It sounds like he was getting up to speed and saw how shoddy their case was and knew it was a losing battle.
This sounds like a familiar theme. Spend obscene amounts of money and time only to turn up empty handed.
Agreed. They are desperate to keep him out of office. He doesn't go along with their plans of a "great reset" to gain control.
I wonder how much money those two prosecutors settled for from Trump? $10 million each...more? When you have wads of money you can do anything.

Yeah, because every other investigation has shown how corrupt he is.

What other investigation?

We are talking about the trump org. and tax dodging investigation right? No other investigation into this stuff that I can find.
I'm using Politico reporting as a source because both political sides have complained about them, so this tells me they are most likely getting it right.
Limbo has just come down to Earth.

With the future of the criminal case in doubt, Attorney General Tish James, whose office has been working in concert with the Manhattan DA, continues to pursue a civil case on similar allegations. That one’s moving full steam ahead: The attorney general plans to question Trump and two of his adult children after a judge ruled last week they must sit for depositions.

Nobody has found anything on Trump or family that I'm aware of, unlike your black faced man child with the pretty hair.

They haven't started the investigation yet, so of course they haven't found anything yet. Sheesh
Power without abuse loses it's charm.
There have been several investigations, but since they can't find any dirt the media is going to ignore it and you will not hear about it and you will end up thinking there haven't been any investigations at all...
You've got a lot of respect for a racist loser.
Just look into those soulless eyes.
I know they investigated Trump University and he settled lawsuits by throwing money at the problem. Not sure his casino fiasco garnered any interest in anything, but this is about tax evasion and I for one welcome investigating any elitist that thinks they can get away with not paying their fair share.

An investigation into the Biden family earnings would certainly be welcome. I don't think any pres has been as scrutinized as Trump. You know they would not quit flaunting it if they actually found something.
Well I can think of one - Nixon. Anyway, the government there had a tax leak and other elitists are also being investigated.

The U.S. government has launched investigations following the disclosure by the media outlet ProPublica of IRS documents indicating that many of the country’s wealthiest billionaires, including Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffett, pay little or nothing in personal taxes.
