Regarding the Finnish language, yes it's difficult, but it is brilliant when you learn to use it. An advantage to other languages is that you write words exactly as you pronounce them. There are no silent letters or any of that bullshit. 🤭

@octo That certainly sounds like an advantage, I still can't clasp English, school was horrendous for me!

Haha, yeah, I know the feeling.

Finnish isn't my native language though, I'm of the Swedish speaking minority, but I do speak Finnsh as well. And I tell you it was a nightmare to learn Finnish in school, it so focused on correct grammar that you get scared to try to speak it. 

Normally around here with the population around 50/50 finnish/swedish speakers you can use you own language and be understood even if you use different languages. I think that's pretty cool. 

Kids that grow up in bilingual families don't know how lucky they are.
