Hey we tried the tea light clay pot heater. Can't say that it worked, but it got so hot it caught fire 
Not doing that again.
I'm not that worried about the electricity, I'm not a huge consumer anyway

I like candle light and big coats.
Once I lived in a shed for 3 years, and through the Winter it would be mighty cold.
Somehow you get used to it though, the only thing I didn't get used to was staring at an old petrol lawnmower every morning when I woke up!

I don't know, I've never tried NOT heating it during winter

we have a gas heater on low in the main living area and it heats the whole place up nicely. I never have heating on in my bedroom, I just go straight under the covers.
It got chilly overnight basically, now daytime temps are around 15C. It's gone down to around 5 at night. I never heat the bedroom either, I like it chilly. I sleep with the window open most of the year
such a rebel with the window open. You probably sleep naked too.
i sleep with a fan on, loud, all year round too. Not facing me in winter, but I can’t sleep without the white noise.
oh and I only sleep naked. I’m an adult not a child. 
Naked is the only way. I do the fan too in the summer and sometimes for the white noise.

But occasionally I would light a fire right outside, this caused the timber in the shed to become extremely hot. I would sleep well on those nights.
Yet people would stand in there garden and say this is the night he burns to death lol.
But I was never that lucky!

All my coworkers bitch about how cold they are at night and continue to list how much clothing they wear in bed, knitted socks and fleece jammies and all sorts.
They don't believe me when I tell them that's exactly the problem, they wear too much clothes. They need to get nekkid and cozy under those blankies. I only have a sheet for cover during warm season, now I have an additional thin fleece blanket that I throw off when I get too warm.
