So sad. Chatting to a neighbour this morning who was crying over it at a cafe. She really was adored. 

Still am a bit shocked...one day tending to her duties..feeling alive and somewhat well then 2 days later gone. She should have stepped down and retired from royal duties.

She had pulled back a lot. A monarch doesn’t step down, only in death.

I haven't heard anyone at work or elsewhere mention the queen's death over here in our republic. Yeah well my mom mentioned it, but she talks all the time. She covers all the topics  

Good ol mom. Sept 19th is the big funeral. I already set aside things to do that day.

2:30am...is when the funeral will start. Is that eastern time...or west coast? I know uk is 8 hours from where iam . You have to be insane to stay up before dawn to watch it.
