Yes, it is today and I for one am looking forward to spring. 

It's been a tough year and can't wait for winter to gtfo

25 minutes increase of daylight since Monday! It's pretty extreme! And with fresh white snow on the ground it's bright af!

It's cold as fuck. That arctic wind is colder than a witch's tit as JR would have described it.

I put vaseline on my face before heading out in a Northern direction. Against the wind. 

Hard to imagine what minus 11 feels like. It got to minus 1 one night when I lived in the mountains and it was freezing, even under the doona, I had to get another doona and put it on top. I now realise I probably should have bought an electric blanket for those freezing nights, I’m just not into them..

I had to do a double take on my thermometer the other morning, because at first I thought it said -18C

We have really cold nights with fantastic daytime temps and sunshine to the max! Lots of snow melting in the sun and overall very enjoyable weather during the day.
