at least you still have leaves..heh
70% chance more snow today here with am snow tomorrow as well
We have a few leaves, but the majority is on the ground.Β
It started raining as I was walking Mason, but I still stopped to snap a few pic before grayscale season sets in.
Β
This is my home street. Dog park is on the right.
Opposite direction:
really enjoy your seasonal pics.. i don't recall but a couple you have taken/shown in wintertime which i hope you will do this time around
Β
Β
Thank you! I will take some pics this winter for sure. I start work early so I'll be taking dog walks while there's some daylight left. Can't take pics without adequate light and midwinter there's about four hours of it
i recall you mentioning your dark days there
that's real drastic lack of sunlight right there..
i can sort of relate
where i am we get down to just 6 hrs daylight by december soltace
It's extreme and it happens fast. To compensate we have 20 hours of daylight during midsummer.
You just live with it or not.Β
Β
@octo Love the way you caught the sun coming through the top of the tree's in second picture.Β
It looks like something is in the first tree on the left, at 8:00 o clock?Β Β
I snapped another pic on that same spot yesterday. The birch is almost completely naked so you can see it's easy to find all sorts of patterns on the stem.
The mist makes an incredible backdrop @Octo.Β
You could sell these photo's you know!
Β
Why,, thank you! Β I don't know about that, but I enjoy taking photos on my walks. I enjoy sharing them with you all and it has also helped me during my time of grief. Nature gives me so much solace.
And of course next I will post some more fog photos
Mason (that's my dog) decided for a new route that foggy day and headed for our sports and recreational area of town for the first time ever π
The soccer practice field. It's a sport we call football π
That's our hockey arena in the mist π€
@octo JR did complain about all that sunshine but then not much later on in time said he had gotten used to it,i remember Β
You wouldn't think the light would be a bigger issue than the darkness, but it seems to be for ppl who aren't used to these planetary shenanigans Β
