I've been walking a lot with Mason. Spending time in nature is healing the soul and I wanted to share some pics from around town.

Yesterday it was raining for a while, but after it stopped we took a walk around town.

Anthriscus sylvestris or Queen Anne's lace blooming in the foreground, Bird cherry in full bloom as a backdrop and wild strawberries blooming on the rock. Everything is blooming!

One of the problem signs of grief is wanting to be isolated. Hey, I'm just warning you ahead of time. I love isolation because I love myself and I can entertain myself intellecually, but there are limits.

Power without abuse loses it's charm.

Gorgeous nature pics.

all those wild animals are far more dangerous than living in Australia where all we have are a few snakes.

Spending time alone in nature would be the best thing for her.

I agree. Right now nature has great healing powers, the beauty is almost overwhelming.

It's not like I walk straight down into the dark, deep forest and sit down on a mossy rock and cry. There are a lot of nice walking paths around town. Sometimes I run into someone I know, stop and talk, maybe I cry, but that's ok.

The lilacs are out

june7 1

All of a sudden I smelled Lily of the valley and started looking around... Sure enough

june7 2

Then we walked down to the park where the river leaves my town.

Not sure what that tree is called, will have to check Reading

eta: it's some type of crabapple (malus). I believe it to be Malus 'Royalty'

On my bike it was like minus 1. I had really warm gloves on, but even they couldn’t stop my fingers freezing. It’s 7C this morning, so much warmer.

damned

everything so pristine there.

vibrant colors and life to the plants

less pollution there is probably why.

The Houses and yards are all so flawless, Man, Beautiful.

Clean, neat and tidy looking.

I just camped in a Forest that was burned several years ago, the brush is all gone, trunks on the Pines all Blackened

and had to clean up other peoples trash as I came into the Camp Site.

Different World over here,

very few squirrels here now, Squirrels are my Alarm system when in the Wild, also, love to watch them play.

This Morning, only Birdie Visitors, no Deer around, I guess they died out in the fire.

Thank you. Yes, it's for the most part clean and fresh and also compensation for the six months of darkness.
