Finland shares a long border with Russia. It's highly surveilled of course with all sorts of high tech but also by border guard patrols and it's illegal both in Finnish and Russian law to cross the border anywhere else but at official border crossings. There are 9 international border crossings.
A handful of illegal entries over the border are normally detected every year. It's really wild and woolly country by the border.
Now our PM thinks it's a good time to BUILD A WALL!
It is Hadrian's Wall, after literally tripping over part of it and looking at the sheer drop on the Scottish side, I came to the conclusion it was to stop the English escaping into Scotland, and not to stop the Scottish from getting into England like I had been told.
What a waste of time for the 15'000 men that built it. We never seem to learn anything from History!
